What Is It?

The Virtual Wall™ (Xp1 for passive and P1 for active stereoscopic visualization) is one of the most popular products developed by Viz-Tek.  It is a complete virtual reality system that can be installed in any conference room or laboratory for a superb 3D presentation, a virtual museum tour, design reviews, digital prototyping, anatomy education, or to take your products to your clients (virtually).  The Virtual Wall™ system provides the versatility needed for a rugged setup, yet enabling high-quality imaging with high resolution and a very bright environment.  It is affordable and expandable to a larger system such as the VR Compliant.  Perhaps one of the most important advantages is that it uses PC workstation technology thus reducing entry price to an affordable level.

The Xp1 enables a walk-in visitor (or 50 visitors) to quickly put on 3D glasses and be immersed in a truly fascinating 3D world of floating objects.  The P1 system provides unsurpassed immersive quality, no ghosting, and true spatial 3D immersion.

Proven Technology

The Virtual Wall™ is already in use across the globe in many different incarnations. From virtual architectural walkthroughs, to medical visualization, to virtual museum tours, the Virtual Wall™ is a turnkey solution that turns heads.

This product has also been successfully deployed as a marketing tool. Large systems can be deployed within a single hour in a conference setting, or large-scale introductions of products. Customers are treated to an unforgettable experience.

What Can I Do with the Virtual Wall?

High-quality graphics and real-time rendering squeezed into a small packageequals a portable solution that is extremely well suited for any application. The MAVRIC is typically taken on the road for an impressive presentation, or for taking your line of products to your customer.

Here are some typical applications:

  • Sales / marketing events
  • Digital prototyping and design reviews
  • Neurology, psychology studies
  • Taking your products (virtually) to your customer
  • Marketing studies--allow people to critique your product before manufacturing
  • Architectural walkthroughs
  • Ergonomic analysis
  • Scientific visualization
  • Medical visualization

Computational Platform

Viz-Tek-configured workstations are rackmounted with the highest-quality clustered environments, providing a high output of polygons-per-second and texture mapping. High frame rates are achieved even with the most demanding applications or computationally-intensive simulations. Each channel provides ample power: our systems are configured with multiple CPUs per-channel, a large amount of RAM, and the most advanced image generators available.

Unmatched VR Software

Perhaps one of the most important aspects of a virtual reality system is software. Software provides a method for integrating the hardware together, but also will be the limiting factor in how fast (or slow) you and your team would be able to develop new applications.

Viz-Tek provides the best-in-class software that enables you to develop the fastest applications, with ease and comfort, yet providing the most advanced capabilities of any VR system on the market today.

Accessories to Fit Your Needs
